Frequently Asked Questions
Most things can go in to your skip. When ordering a skip we will ask an idea of what you are hiring your skip bin for. We can guide you on the do’s and don’ts of hiring when you call. We also ask that if you are disposing of paint tins that still contain paint, please make sure that the lid is firmly secure and you sit the tin on top and point it out when we collect your skip. That way we can dispose of it correctly at the tip.
We are not licenced to carry asbestos so we ask that NO asbestos be placed in our skips. It is an offence to transport and dispose of asbestos without a licence.
Our standard hire is 7 days, but additional hire time is always available, especially when the unexpected pops up and holds you up with your clean up or renovation. Just give us a call before your bin is due for collection and we will book it in for a few extra days, at no additional cost.
Usually 1 days’ notice is handy to book a skip so that we can schedule it in. In most instances we can deliver you a bin on the same day.
We ask that bins are paid for on delivery. Otherwise we ask that you call us to make arrangements to pay prior to your skip being removed. The bin will not be removed until payment has been made in full.
